Born in 1973, Gareth Hector found an early passion for painting and military history while growing up in Scotland.

Gareth would then go onto a successful career in the world of computer animation. Digitally painting and art directing he has worked on high profile projects such as Call of Duty, Warhammer, Doctor Who and Halo.

 

In 2010, after a 15 year hiatus, Gareth returned to his love of traditional painting and military history. Since then Gareth has seen a wide range of commissions for private collectors, book publishers, airshow promotions and galleries.

His work also resides in many private collections, museums and Squadron Mess Rooms, including those of VMF-323, VMA-311 and 825 Squadrons.
